Taking the first step towards personal growth and healing can be intimidating. This is where therapy steps in. I take pride in walking alongside others in need of positive change so they are never alone. I specialize in treating individuals with substance abuse and addiction. My goal as a therapist is to support, inspire, motivate, and encourage change when feeling stuck.  Substance abuse and addiction often masks underlying depression, anxiety, and/or trauma. I will work with you to understand what motivates you to use substances and how you can better cope with those triggers.

As a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, my passion is helping others transform their lives and achieve their goals. I attended the University of Illinois where I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sociology and later my Masters of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from National Louis University. I am also a Certified Alcohol & Drug Counselor and National Certified Counselor. Over the course of my career, I have worked in various settings such as: schools, rehabilitation programs, outpatient PHP and IOP programs. I have been fortunate to work with many different people of all ages and life struggles, and thus have developed a broad perspective on mental health and how to guide individuals through the healing process.

Together, we can work towards your goals and address any concerns you may have along the way. I take a compassionate approach to healing and provide care in-person and through telehealth. I believe each person presents their own unique circumstances. In my experience, mutually creating a customized plan towards positive change has proven to be effective for long term successes and growth. I strive daily to provide a warm, welcoming, and comfortable environment for you to express vulnerability and work towards self-improvement. And I consider it an honor to accompany you on your journey.
